THE PERSON BEHIND THE DOUGH

It started with dough. Then it became personal.

I've always loved making dough. The feel of it in my hands, the patience of fermentation, and that moment when something so simple becomes something worth sharing. For me, it's never been just about pizza.

I grew up in Italy, where a good piece of bread and a great pizza don't need to be complicated. When I moved to Canada, I brought that love of honest food with me. And when I became a father, it meant even more. I started thinking about what I was putting on my own family's table, and how much I wanted my children to grow up knowing what good food can taste like.

I was tired of seeing so many convenient foods made with ingredients I wouldn't choose for my family. I wanted something different: carefully selected ingredients, real craftsmanship, and dough given the time it deserves. No shortcuts just to make things faster.

That's why I created Alto Forno. To bring a little of the Italian experience I know and love into your home. We do the slow work, so you can add your favourite toppings, finish our bases in your oven, and share a moment around the table with the people who matter most.

It's the food I want to serve my own family. And it's the care I want you to taste in every bite.
